Sleep Tight
(Michael Sean)

Turn around and look me in the eye
Can you see? Cause it looks to me like you’ve gone blind
And I always saw through your disguise
You paid your price but you can’t afford what you want from life
This big bad world has let you down
You fought and lost all twelve rounds
It’s even harder when you chose
To fight the good fight and still lose

Now you’re on your way to a different kind of life
Where your dreams will live only when you sleep at night
And if there’s peace in your mind and I hope that’s what you find
Then your dreams won’t be something that got left behind
Sleep Tight

I’m sick of being down these days when all it brings is misery
With misery comes company and nightmares become reality
How can I make these things turn right? Cause I’m losing at the winning fight

Take a deep breath and except what’s coming next
Let it out and hope what’s next is happiness
And I believe in faith and destiny
You’ve paid your dues
But you can’t come up with the late fee
